Lovisa has written ten novels in the contemporary romance genre, called feelgood romance by some. Besides the Messenger duology, which consists of two books, Lovisa has published eight standalone works that all revolve around passionate, and sometimes forbidden, love with many obstacles along the way.

"Doppa tårna i ett hav av lögner", "Stjärnfall av kärlek", "Vackra, vita lögner" and "Kyssar i regnskog" are the most humorous books, while "Ödets kyss" and "Önskningar i månsken" are best read with tissues at hand. These two books might not even be classified as romance if one were to be picky, but rather as tragic love stories.
